- It sounds like your Contacts app launches only for a split second and then closes. I would quit the Contacts app specifically with these steps: Force an app to close in iOS. So maybe some one can help me with this. There are lot's of web post about this problem, and I have tried all the fixes, rebuilding accounts, deleting mail folders, etc., and Mail still keeps intermittently crashing. Mail only crashes on my 1 user account, not on mine.
